About Me – Hannah, Creator of Heels to Hiking Boots

Heels to Hiking Boots

Traveling is in my blood.  As a young girl I trekked in the deep jungles of Southeast Asia, journeyed throughout Central America and snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef all before the age of ten.

Two years before graduating college from the University of Colorado, I started have a natural urge to get out and see the world. I made my way to Madrid in 2010 at the age of 20.  I spent the summer living with a Spanish-speaking family as an Au Pair.  The excitement and adventure had won my heart.

I started Heels to Hiking Boots in December of 2012 as a way for me to share my knowledge, research and passion for travel with the rest of the world.  Heels to Hiking Boots is all about getting the most out of your travel experience.  Follow me here to stay up to date on all my latest adventures.
